New Season in Our Lives, Same Style Though

One of the reasons that I started this blog was I felt in myself and with talking to other people a disconnect between the person you truly are versus the person you put out into the world. This really manifests itself quite a bit in your personal style. Your style is kind of your way of saying “hey world, this is what I like.” You do this with the way you decorate your home and the way you present yourself with the clothes and accessories that you wear.

Hunt for the Perfect Crib: Best Gray Cribs with Vintage Elegance

This is very exciting. I've been doing some online browsing for cribs and have compiled some of the top picks below. All of these cribs have a few things in common: 1.) They are all gray. 2.) They have a vibe of what I am calling "vintage elegance." 3.) They are all convertible. Meaning, they all have the ability to grow with baby. Some convert into toddler and daybeds and most also convert into a full-size bed when it is time for that. (Crazy!) 4.) This may be the best common factor - they are all under $400.00.  Truth be told, my favorites are under $300.00 but I wanted to show you a range.

Styling with the Pioneer Woman

The Pioneer Woman Paige china has a lot of really great attributes that we really love, not the least of which is how it looks. The china isn't our first experience with Pioneer Woman. Also on the table are our Pioneer Woman Adeline glass goblets. We have had these for a couple of years now and use them for everything from water to wine. We have them in both turquoise and plum (turquoise photographed). They've been such a hit in our house that my sister has started a collection of goblets for herself. These are heavy-duty glasses that make you feel like you are drinking something special. And because of that, we use them for breakfast, lunch and dinner - why use anything else? I'm serious. And knock on wood, unlike any other glass I have ever owned, we have not broken a single one of these goblets.
